Michael Chetner, Managing Principal
Over the last 20 years I have led various companies across ANZ and Asia Pacific, successfully driving sustained profitable, high growth in start ups, scale up and mature organisations. I have significant experience building and scaling local operations, as well as driving new business opportunities and revenue streams across all customer segments from online, to SMB, to Enterprise sales teams.
I know what it is like to be hands on, grinding away with limited resources, whilst developing focused strategies and operational plans to compete successfully and grow new business. I have built an extensive network to provide a wide availability of expertise.
Most recently, I led Zoom’s Australia & NZ business, and then Asia Pacific as the first employee, tasked with building and scaling the business locally from scratch (company's first international expansion), to IPO and then to ultimately being able to handle the significant user and product growth over the course of the pandemic, achieving revenues of $400M+.
Before this I oversaw the market entry of Acano into the ANZ market and also tripled Polycom's (now HP Poly) local business over 3 years, as well as overseeing $400M+ in revenues across Asia Pacific.
